St Peter and St Paul - Kirton

The original 12th century west wall and door is now inside the church after the tower was moved.

We have many beautiful stained glass windows as well as an ornate, carved rood screen, pulpit and lectern. And 15th Century font.

You will also find a Norman and Beard organ.

Our tower was blown up by dynamite! Once a large cruciform church our tower was demolished and then rebuilt at the west end of the church. The original 12th century west wall and entrance door is now inside the church.  There is a picture of the original church and a plan of the building.
